What is the life of a samosa seller in India?

.
.
.
.
.
.
.
True conversation:-
MUMBAI : I boarded the 18:50 train from Church Gate.
When the train was about to leave Marine lines,
A samosa vendor with an empty basket got on and took
the seat next to me.
As the compartment was sparsely occupied and my
destination was still far away,
I got into a conversation with him.
Me: "Seems like you've sold all your samosas today."
Vendor (smiling): "Yes. By God's grace, full sales today."
Me: "I really feel sorry for you people. Don't you get tired
doing
This tiresome job the whole day?"
Vendor: "What to do, sir? Only by selling samosas like this
every day do
We get a commission of 75 paise for each samosa that we
sell."
Me: "Oh, is that so ? How many samosas do you sell on an
average each day?"
Vendor: "On peak days, we sell 4,000 to 5,000 samosas per
day.
On an average, we sell about 3,000 samosas a day."
I was speechless.....for a few seconds.......
The guy says he sells 3,000 samosas a day; at 75 paise each,
He makes about 2,000 rupees daily, or 60,000 rupees a
month.
That's Rs. 60,000 a month. OMG.
I intensified my questioning and this time it was not for time
pass.
Me: "Do you make the samosas yourself?"
Vendor: "No Sir. we gets the samosas through a samosa
manufacturer
And we just sell them. After selling we give him the money
And gives us 75 paise for each samosa that we sell."
I was unable to speak a single word more but the vendor
continued...
"But one thing...most of our earnings are spent on living
expenses.
Only with the remaining money are we able to take care of
other business."
Me: "Other business? What is that?"
Vendor: "It is a land business. In 2007 I bought 1.5 acres in
Palghar for 10 lakh rupees and I sold it a few months back for
60 lakhs.
Now I have bought land in umroli for 20 lakh rupees."
Me: "What did you do with the remaining amount?
Vendor: "Of the remaining amount,
I have set aside 20 lakhs for my daughter's wedding.
I have deposited the other 20 lakhs in the bank."
Me: "How much schooling have you had?"
Vendor: "I studied up to third standard;
I stopped my studies when I was in the 4th standard.
But I know how to read and write.
Sir, there are many people like yourself,
Who dress well, wear a tie, wear shoes,
Speak English fluently and work in air-conditioned rooms.
But I don't think you guys earn as much
As we do wearing dirty clothes and selling samosas."
At this point, what could I reply. After all, I was talking to a Millionaire! The train chugged into khar station
And the samosa vendor got up from his seat.
Vendor: "Sir, this is my station...have a good day."
Me: "Take care."What is the life of a samosa seller in India?

Meat Ban

Hey bro! Did You hear about the recent meat ban in Maharashtra? Asked Sam
Yeah Bro who didn't? Mick replied.
But Bro is it right? Vegetarians deciding what should non-vegans eat? Ok I understand they are doing it for a particular community, but still if they can ignore animal slaughter for the other days of the year, they should have no problem for those four days too, said Sam.
Sam,sam, sam, you're one dumb fella! You think they are doing it for a particular community? Hahaha! They are doing this for their goddamn vote-bank,same goes for those morons protesting against the ban by cooking chicken in front of their community's club. That was utterly inhumane,Mick replied.
Oh yes! I never thought of that aspect,it makes complete sense, but still don't you think we can live without meat for 4-5 days? Asked Sam.
Bro,it's not about whether we non-vegetarians can't live without meat for 4-5 days or not,it's about our freedom. The government has no right to decide what we should eat, wear, watch or do. We live in a democratic country we have the right to do whatever we want, provided it isn't illegal or something like that. If the believes of a particular community stop them from doing something, they shouldn't do it and try to ignore it if it's happening someplace else. They have absolutely no right from stopping the people of other communities or people who have different ideas from doing it,that's a moronic and cheap thing to do,but sam who are we to talk about what humans do? We are Dogs after all, I am pretty sure our master has a big stock of non-vegetarian dog food left or else he will manage to feed us meat somehow. Mind it,we live in a rich politician's house and he won't ignore the health of dogs who are responsible for his security.

BSNL upgrades minimum broadband speed to 2 Mbps

More than one crore BSNL landline broadband customers will get a minimum internet speed of 2 megabits per second as against existing speed of 512 kilobits per second on their existing plans. This move could trigger drop in data speed tariffs of private Telecom operators.
COMMUNICATIONS minister Ravi Shankar Prasad launched the services in Gurgaon on Monday. Launching the service Anupam Srivastava CMD BSNL said, "We have increased the internet speed four times ...we have ensured 2 Mbps is available at last mile, which is the customer premises."
This move by BSNL will ensure that private Telecom operators will be forced to offer the same speed at a lower cost. Further Telecom Regulatory Authority of India is also expected to soon redefine the definition of Broadband speed, which is currently 512 kbps.
The move is one more step towards reviving the BSNL, which is fast losing customers in mobile and lack of addition in customers in landline. The Telecom public sector unit had registered a loss of Rs 7,600 crore in last financial year.
Communications Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said, "BSNL should have frequent interface with customers and the efforts taken today by increasing the internet definition should help in digital India initiative, which is more for poor."
Earlier, Srivastava said that BSNL is on a revival path. "We have added 15 lakh mobile customers in last few months as against 7-8 lakh subscribers, per month."

10 Shocking Facts About the Bermuda Triangle

Bermuda Triangle is the greatest unsolved mystery of the modern age. Also called Devil's Triangle.
It is a triangular shaped area in the North Atlantic Ocean, from Bermuda Island to Miami, USA and Puerto Rico. Hundreds of people and numerous boats, ships and planes have disappeared inside this triangle. Reasons given for these disappearances vary from scientific to sheer myth. Here are 10 Shocking facts about Bermuda Triangle :

1
The Bermuda Triangle is not small. In fact, it is quite large and covers an area of 440,000 miles of sea. This is larger than the combined area of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh & Maharashtra.

2
The triangle is certainly not fixed and its effect can be experienced outside of the triangle too.

3
The disappearances are ascribed to UFO's and alien activity, city of Atlantis lost under the triangle, and various other technical, natural and geographical reasons.

4
Whenever any plane or ship disappears in the Triangle, its debris cannot be found. The reason behind this is that Gulf Stream runs near the triangle, which quickly gets rid of the debris.

5
At least 1000 lives are lost within the last 100 years. On average, 4 aircraft and 20 yachts go missing every year.

6
Inside the Bermuda Triangle, US Government has AUTEC (for Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center), which is located on the Andros Island of Bahamas. Here US Navy tests their submarines, sonar and other weapons. However many are of the view that it is more than just the testing center.

7
People have experienced electronic fog in the triangle, which can be a Time Travel Tunnel too. Pilot Bruce Gernon claims he lost 28 minutes after flying through a time-warping cloud tunnel. The plane went missing from radars, only to re-emerge in Miami Beach. (Source: The Fog by Bruce Gernon.)

8
One of the biggest and famous losses of US Military occurred in 1945. Five US Navy Avenger torpedo bombers flew from Fort Lauderdale, Florida for a sortie to the island of Bimini. The mission had 14 men. After about 90 minutes, the radio operators received a signal that the compass was not working. After that the COMMUNICATION was lost. The bombers were never found. The three planes that went for their rescue also disappeared.

9
The first person to report about Bermuda Triangle was Christopher Columbus. He wrote in his journals that inside the triangle, the ship's compass stopped working and he also saw a fireball in the sky.

10
Bermuda Triangle is one of the rare places on earth where the compass does not point towards Magnetic North. Instead of that, it point towards true north, which creates confusion and that's why so many ships and planes lost its course in the triangle

I am a lone traveler,
I travel for miles all alone.
I keep meeting new people as I travel towards the unknown and undiscovered,
But I can't keep up with them for too long,
Perhaps my liking for solitude and my need to go on is a reason for it,
Or is it because of my different nature that I get abandoned after some time.
Alas! I will never know the reason or will I?
When I started my journey there were only a few people who supported me,
Now I am far, far, far away from them,
I know there will be a point when I would have traveled so far away that there won't be anyone waiting for me to return IF I do return.
But everything comes at a cost,
So does my journey.
As I smoke up the last pack I have no Idea what I am searching for?
But I know I will know I have found it when I will come across it,
Till then let's count those stars in the night sky,
listen to the music of the wild and the free,
observe the daring and talented
and start following what we want rather than what others want us to do.
