Society: The Guide which we all need
Are you planning on becoming a writer, painter or an artist?
Then stop thinking about it right now. Have you ever imagined what your neighbors and relatives will say about you? Have you thought what image of you will be created in the society? Do you want your relatives and neighbors to taunt you directly or indirectly by asking their children to study hard iof they don't want to become like you?
Are you a girl and want to wear those tight t-shirt and jeans? Do you want to wear that skirt or half denims you brought recently? Do you want to go to a late night party or get drunk or high or do you wanna smoke?
Don't you dare even think of it. You're a girl, you should wear traditional clothes, learn to cook food, stay in the house and learn some basic chores like washing and stitching clothes AND the most important of all DON'T talk with boys if it's not necessary. If you don't want to follow these above things be ready to be branded as an uncultured girl or even a slut. The choice is yours.
Wait! What? You're not a Doctor,Engineer,CA or a MBA graduate and you're a writer or painter or photographer who earns 10-15k p/m? But you're happy with what you're? Are you insane? Who the fuck cares of your happiness? Your only job is to earn 50k+ every month. If you earn less than that and you're an artist then you're also a drunk, smoker, drug addict and a disgrace to your parents. Your article or painting getting published in some newspaper or magazine is nothing in comparison to a degree from some IIT or AIIMS or IIM or a CA's license.
Don't you dare follow your dreams! Don't you dare do anything unconventional or something modern and untraditional. Because if you do so the society will be there for the moral policing and lecturing.
In the end I would request you to be mainstream, traditional and do what your relative's or neighbor's son or daughter is doing. And girls don't go out of your house alone at late night. If something bad happens it would be your fault only.
